    Archaeological Inventory Database, Minnesota

    The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) Archaeological database, now maintained by The Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA), consists of archaeological properties identified and inventoried by SHPO, OSA, cooperating state and federal agencies, and professional archaeologists in the course of their archaeological research activities. For the past 30 years, these activities have been carried out through provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act, the Minnesota Historic Sites Act, and the Minnesota Field Archaeology Act.
