  • Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model (HYCOM) Global Forecast (1/12 deg)

    Forecasts of salinity, sea water temperature, and sea water velocity from the Global HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model (HYCOM). HYCOM provides comparable resolution to satellite based SST and salinity values (1/12 degree resolution, or ~7 km spacing on average), and provides results in 32 vertical layers. Surface forcing is from NOGAPS. More information is available from the HYCOM project (http://hycom.org/hycom/overview).
